Go, Go, Go, Slow, Slow, Slow

When everything seem to be go, go, go and when it seems like everything is being put on you, don’t forget to try to decompress when you can. When things get overwhelming, sometimes the pressure just grows and progress actually slows down or the pressure will be released at a time that is not good.

Over Teching

I guess I don’t fully understand the hype over smart watches. I just feel that they are just going to make us more dependent on technology and make us less social. There is a lot we can get out of technology, but we can’t let it take away some of the skills we need to develop. Technology is a tool, not a crutch. We are also getting too connected at times.

Don’t Let Social Media Replace Real Conversation

I think we are starting to let social media has too much influence and control over our lives. Sure, it can be great for talking to someone who might be a long distance from where you are, but I think that it is starting to make us forget how to communicate in real life. I really don’t like this concept of something not really being official until it is online.

I think that people are somewhat using it to hide from some of the conversations that they are not wanting to have or are too scared to have. That’s not good. I feel that social media has somewhat become a crutch in real life.

I think that as a society, we need to relearn how to be social again. We are letting social media and technology make the tough conversations be behind a curtain.

Don’t Just Take The Easy Road

The easy way isn’t always the best way. If the easy way is just doing the same over and over again, there is no opportunity for change. There is nothing that can happen without some risk. You have to take risks and have faith that the best (which isn’t necessarily what you think is the best) outcome will happen.

Life behind the scenes.
