Don’t even try to compare your situation to others. Don’t go trying to force anything when you see things happening for others and not yourself. Your time will come. Just be patient. Technology has certainly made this much worse.
You never know
You never know just what will happen when you step out of your comfort zone. Even if it isn’t great, you’ve stepped out and not let fear win.
Talk it out
If you have a lot on your mind, try to talk to someone you trust about it. It might help you sort it out, or bring up stuff you may not have thought of.
Game Time Social Media Timeout
Whenever I see the Packers losing in a fashion that could make people upset, I tend to stay away from social media. It just gets too negative for something that really doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. I have more important things to use my brain power on.
Connected to disconnect?
I know that it may seem like that technology is making you more connected to others, but I feel that there are times where it causes a disconnection between you and others. I’m talking about those times when you are out and about and actually with people. Put your phones away when you are with people and actually connect!
Sometimes, out of comfort is a good thing
It is usually a good idea to get out of your comfort zone every now and again. It might not be easy, but it normally is a good thing.
Don’t just keep it inside
If there is something on your mind, write it down or talk to someone about it. If you keep it bottled up, you may just explode like a bottle of soda.
Games are not life
When your favorite team loses, it doesn’t mean that the world is ending. If your team winning or losing is so much a priority in your life that is extremely impacts your mood, you might want to give following that team a break. For you, the games are entertainment, don’t do anything stupid when your team loses.
Shhhh….
Everyone needs to have some quiet time every once in a while. I’m taking about time without any distractions, any noise. If everything is noisy, you’ll miss out on what’s really going on inside.
Here’s what important to you
If you want to know where your priorities are, look that what you think about most and what you worry about. That is where your priorities lie.
