If you stay in your comfort zone, nothing will change and you won’t grow. It may seem like a good thing to stick with what has been working, but it really isn’t that good because nothing is going to change and you won’t learn anything.

Don’t Dwell On It
Yes, there are times where it is good to think about something for a long time, but often it is not a good idea to dwell on something for a long time. Often nothing good comes of it.
Change is Good
Things are always changing. If things aren’t changing, there is something wrong and you may be dead.
Go, Go, Go, Slow, Slow, Slow
When everything seem to be go, go, go and when it seems like everything is being put on you, don’t forget to try to decompress when you can. When things get overwhelming, sometimes the pressure just grows and progress actually slows down or the pressure will be released at a time that is not good.
You are not an island
No matter your beliefs, you can’t do it alone. If you are struggling with something, talk to someone about it. It will help sort everything out.
Nothing is ever easy
Life is not always easy. It is how you handle the rough patches that truly show you where you are. It is the rough patches where you learn the most.
Breaks aren’t bad
Don’t forget to take time to rest. If you are just go, go, go, go you never get a change to enjoy things and you will just burn yourself out.
Slow Down and Smell The Tip of the Day
The Tip of the Day is brought to you by time standing still.
Sometimes you just have to take it slow and let things happen. Rushing things don’t typically make things better – it usually turns out that a rush job isn’t good in the end.
Very rarely has something I rushed been what it should be.
Just Be Yourself
Just be yourself. If you aren’t yourself, then who are you? Don’t compare your life to someone else’s life because you will miss out on a lot of joy.
Time Doesn’t Fix It
Time only covers up the problem, it doesn’t fix it. You still have to deal with it.
I know I posted something a TOTD about this in 2008 that contradicts it, but I no longer feel that the 2008 tip is right.
