What a race! The second swimmer, Garrett Weber-Gale, who in his first olymipcs, went to Nicolet HS in Milwaukee County and I saw him swim in high school.

I know what it is like to make a big push in the last few meters back from my days in the pool. In my junior year of high school, I was last in the 100m Free with 25m to go, and wound up winning. Maybe more shocking than that is that I won a sprint (I was a distance swimmer). Not quite the excitement that the swimmers had tonight, but it was a good feeling.

It was another come from behind win for The Crew. I called Jenkins’ double down the right field line (that it would be down the right field line scoring someone). If the highlight of the hit was just a little clearer – you might be able to find me. I was sitting in the front row. Turnbow is back after that 9th inning performance. Now if the starting pitcher can keep that pitch count down when I’m there (Davis has pitched 3 of the games I have been at)…
